Welcome back everyone; I hope you had a wonderful summer break.  It’s hard to believe that summer vacation is over and another school year is beginning.  Fall is a time for new progression in education.  The beginning of the school year provides us with a fresh start, an opportunity to build on what we have already learned and will learn, as well as get us past any challenges that we were faced with during the last school year.  It is an ideal time to refocus on one’s dreams and goals.  In order to help set a positive tone for the upcoming school year and to help our children develop important academic and life skills, it’s invaluable to encourage children ( no matter what their age) to think about their future and to set realistic, small goals that they can work toward throughout the year.

It may be difficult to get back into the school routine. One of the challenges you may find yourself facing is the dreaded “homework battle”.  I have included on this web page in the "My Resources" section a “Survival Guide to Homework” and a "Homework Planner".  Furthermore, you can also find within my resource section information regarding school transitions as well as a number of other articles.  Please contact me if there is a certain topic that you would like information about as well.

Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions that you may have regarding your child's social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs.  I am available at Paine School Tuesday through Friday; I can also be reached through the school's email system.  I look forward to another wonderful school year where we can all.......
